Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Rachel has spent the majority of her career in the counseling field. With an undergraduate degree in Exceptional Education from the University of Florida, and a Master of Science in Counselor Education from Florida International University, she possesses a solid foundation in mental health issues and treatments. Rachel is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
Her professional experience has touched many walks of life, including several years providing counseling support to the United States Navy, and leading training in Post Traumatic Stress for the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Departments. Recent training and certifications include an intensive course in EMDR (a new and rapidly growing treatment technique), Family Law Mediation and Certified Clinical Hypnosis – RRT. Rachel accepts many insurances, multiple EAP programs, and self pay.
Rachel applies her Healthy Lifestyle philosophy in her personal life as well as in her counseling. An avid runner all her life, Rachel can be seen in her neighborhood going the distance when not in her office.
Fun Fact: Rachel has completed the New York City Marathon and The Donna Deagan half marathon on multiple occasions.
